The Dems are becoming more and more irrelevant by the day.

Whatchya talking about? They're relevant to all the illegals who need them to fight for more of the white man's money.

Here is a better article on this subject.

IMO halting the most forward and threatening of the war games in return for complete denuclearization is a fair deal. Completely halting war games or pulling out of South Korea is not a good idea at this point, unless and until SK asks us to.

Yeeeeah, he probably shouldn't be going there just yet, given North Korea's history of wanting nothing more than to destroy America. Give it a few years to make sure he sticks to his promises and the situation for everyone there drastically improves...

I'm still not entirely sold on this. Kim temporarily giving in is no surprise due to the Chinese finally having grown tired of his antics and severely punishing NK's economy with sanctions, but nuclear weapons have a symbolic as well as a practical component to the Kim clan.

Throwing them away and basically putting NK at the mercy of the United States and China would be guaranteed to cause unrest in NK's powerful military circles, unless Kim can somehow guarantee them that their respective fiefdoms remain untouched. Perhaps even worse, Kim would basically shit on everything his predecessors aimed for, and with the cult of personality you have in NK, this more than just borderline apostasy.

On the other hand, one may argue that Kim by now is more worried about the (comparatively) affluent middle class that recently has begun to rise in NK, and which is less concerned about the country having a nuclear arsenal, but more about the commercial availiability of anything from food to Chinese (and, ironically, South Korean) soap operas.
