It is CBD, and not THC, that mediates the neurotransmitter GABA which plays a role in the onset of seizures.

Not a fan of THC, because I don't enjoy the high... but in this case, both THC and CBD taken in equal portions show efficacy for central and peripheral neuropathic pain. There's other synthetic cannabinoids that are in the process of trials showing positive effects, too.

I believe it's CBD. I bought a CBD salve and it works great for muscle pain.

THC gets you high, CBD is medicine.

most compact and simple way of it you can get, would be tinctures or edibles?

Absolutely! It has already been done. CBD extract is widely available in my state, though I read recently that it was made a Schedule 1 drug (I could be wrong).

To be perfectly honest, I was experiencing minor seizures a year ago and decided to use CBD. Since then I have been seizure free.
