Australia is on a roll right now. Introducing anti-piracy website blocking legislation and now silencing workers at concentration immigration detention centres where there are constant abuses. All the while there has been a huge inquiry into sexual abuse within the Catholic Church. Stay classy Australia.

I watched a BBC documentary a while ago about the detention centers. They had to occasionally film discretely and most detained immigrants were too scared to do an interview. A couple of them that did, asked them to hide their faces and alter their voices. It was heart wrenching! I had to wipe out tears off my face many times :(

we're losing our shit rapidly. I told my wife that if one of us loses our jobs (due to the economic down turn), we'll move back to the US. Things may not be so great there either, but I really can't stand the crazies that are popping out. Like it's really affecting me health wise....:\

MH370 is when Australia went off the rails in the 'cover-up' biz, now its completely off the tracks and NEO-CON (ZION) is running Australia into oblivion.

Why? A fool might ask? Most likely the only place on earth inhabitable when NEO-CON is done burning earth will be Australia without non Zionist's.

Once a UK Colony always a UK slave/penal colony, just look to USA for proof that old UK Penal Colony's never move away from the yoke.

To further fuel the conspiracy fire;

Australia is probably being eyed for the next country that will protect the EU based pedo rings, and this is just the first step of codification.

Given the government/police supported cover up of child abuse by clergy in the 50's/60's/70's/80's there is a lot of experience to draw upon.

Economically though, 'down under' has long been the escape hatch for the 'elite' when thing go fubar.

Agenda 21 FTW!

In America, a lot of jobs are considered mandated reporters where they are required to report child abuse. Don't they have something like that in Australia?

This is the case with medical professionals in Australia but it seems this new legislation will supersede that on flimsy grounds relating to national security or some nonsense.

As an Australian this is only the latest in a seemingly endless stream on terrible decisions and abysmal policy by the current government. Tony Abbott and his bunch of goons are in the process of ruining our country with their ridiculously old fashioned and out of touch views. We used to be thought of as the fun loving, exciting, free country but have now tuned into one of the more conservative countries in the developed world. While this government is in place I feel that we will only keep going backwards. Tony Abbott has ruined Australia

So deeply ashamed of my country. They ought to be prosecuted, but it's likely they'll be electorally rewarded instead.

Mate i have lived in australia for 20 years and i have never felt this insecure about being who i am until now. There's a rise of the far right and the government seems to just be fine with it.
