Rich people have private jets. Who cares. I could walk to the grocery store but I would rather drive. You arent solving global warming by taking public transit that still use fossil fuels.

Well, if you make a big public spectacle about global warming and how it's the single biggest threat to humanity, and then you drive when you could easily walk, then yes, you are just as big a hypocrite as he is. No one is attacking the rich people flying private jets who are not engaged in a massive virtue signaling campaign.

I'm not an aeronautical engineer but my guess would be that nobody ever in the history of mankind took a jet to somewhere they could easily walk to.
Just a guess...

You kind of are though. Let's say 20 cars = 20 pollution units. 1 bus eliminates 40 cars and = 15 pollution units. I pulled these numbers out of the air (pun intended), but that's the idea, trade 40 cars for one bus = less pollution.

Yeah, but I'm never gonna ride a bus with a bunch of poor people. I had to ride the C train in Calgary for 2 weeks, riding at peak hours. I wanted to kill someone every day. Retarded teens talking about drugs, passing their pipe around (not smoking, just showing). Don't get me wrong, I smoke pot. I don't bother other people with it though. Smelling fuckers everywhere. Fat people and their rolls invading my space. Nope, sorry. I will never take public transit.

Its not getting solved by bottom up stuff, it will be solved with alternative energy. Coal plants and cars are a much greater impact than a stupid plane

Not sure why you got dv'd, but the technology used to dv you was made in part by fossil fuels as well. Especially in the states right now, natural gas is all the rage because power companies turn the most profit on it.
I guess some eurogoats might have some cleaner alibis though

Not to mention that natural gas is used in the production of many, many chemicals and materials. It's not released as CO2 but it isn't doing the oceans any good.
