Shouldn't they have overthrown the government already? Can a color revolution really work once a plan goes off track? Given that the same playbook is being used, the Armenians should be able to throw a wrench into things. Fort Russ has speculated about this.

They can't do that yet. They don't have popular support. This is why they will boycott the elections. The West will probably pronounce the elections invalid to legitimize the movement. They will continue until they provoke sufficient level of violence to overthrow the government.

So then it isn't Ukraine anymore. It is going to be like Macedonia. Maybe the Armenians will learn from that, so they can keep the color revolution from being successful.
