Yeah I know simply acknowledging the existence of the shittier version of voat, aka Reddit, will get me some downvoats, but hear me out. There's no denying the influence that site had in the 2016 election. With the recent ban wave of even mild right wing subreddits (especially considering the questionable ban justifications given by the admins), it looks like they're gearing up for a T_D ban or at least a quarantine.
WWH if T_D was banned/quarantined? Is Twitter and Facebook such a powerhouse that it wouldn't make a real difference in the election outcome? Would the boomer-esque T_D subscribers flock to voat in another wave before going back to FB/Reddit? What do you all think?
