Need to Know:
The stalker has made some new friends, the new operation is based on the favor that we owe Alad V for his aid in the second dream. The stalker wants his head and instead of going himself he's decided to instead play Football Manager 2016 and recruit some hopeless babies and train them up to be the best linkin park fetish groupies you've ever seen.
They can be found throughout the star map at random, their location is hidden as they move around and as soon as they appear in someones match the event ui will change to show the planet and then the node of the planet. Simple stuff.
They are about as strong as pre-shadow stalker, with different skills and weapon sets. They can be tricky if they get enough time to use their skills but so far I haven't had a match that they didn't quickly die.
In addition to this event there are some welcome fixes and some minor conclave changes, seems to be very much focused on the new faction with this patch which is fine enough, good luck hunting down the new mods that the mini-stalkers drop.

Wait, Warframe has a story?

Kind of. It's still mostly hazy disconnected elements of the past with new details of the present and a lot of old grudges we don't know the cause of, even if the cause is the players. There's a lot of speculation and some of it has even been found to be correct about some of the stuff, like the twin queens and the power structure of orokin society, even some of the stuff thought about with the lotus turned out to be true even if it's context was wrong the whole time the guesses were circulating.

I loved the game. Used to play it exclusively. Never paid attention enough to the "story" I guess. I tried to start playing it again a few months back. It felt played out, for me personally. Ya know?
Still a great game. Truly F2P, great graphics, exciting gameplay.
Edit. I absolutely hate the ship interface. I wish they would go back to how it was. A nice simple UI.
