War. War never changes.
When He broke the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come.” And another, a red horse, went out; and to him who sat on it, it was granted to take peace from the earth, and that men would slay one another; and a great sword was given to him. Revelation 6:3-4
“Never, never, never believe any war will be smooth and easy, or that anyone who embarks on the strange voyage can measure the tides and hurricanes he will encounter. The statesman who yields to war fever must realize that once the signal is given, he is no longer the master of policy but the slave of unforeseeable and uncontrollable events.” -Winston Churchill
Welcome to War History.
This sub is about anything related to the history of warfare. Weapons, troops, logistics, music, camp followers, etc.
Subverse Rules (12/21/2015):
-
Submissions must be related to human warfare.
-
All [NSFW] links need to be tagged but understand that the topic of war in of itself is NSFL so be warned.
-
Violation of the global user agreement will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
-
I hate censorship but this sub is focused on war "history" and not pseudo-history (i.e. holocaust denial). If you want to discuss personal agendas that are not rooted in fact then there are plenty of subs for that purpose.
Moderator Rules:
-
Moderators will follow all subscriber rules.
-
When removing a post or comment, moderators will copy and paste the rule violation that led to the removal in a PM to the user, as well as any recommended changes that would allow for a resubmission.
