Really?
There is a large population of radical Islamic Muslims who want to destroy the western world. Not to say we don't have Christians here to do the same. But to deny that is intellectually dishonest.
Second the politics that ISIS is using is terrorism and violence. They are using homicidal violence, to push their values and culture on others. You convert or you die. No if an butts about it. And most Muslims want death penalty (and some theocracies do) for apostasy. Shit we have Muslims killing each other over differences in how they practice the Koran. (Shitty Abrahamic religions). Sadly the Muslims who not support this type of culture are shunned or killed in many of these theocracies. I fucking hate the word Muslims because it separates us even more.
As Sam Harris would say, we need to protect the ones who are vocal against such violence. The western world needs them to be more vocal about it.
