That doesn't look like dental erosion due to soda to me. Eventually, sure, it'll cause damage, but not to someone that age and in that pattern. Typically erosion from acid and sugar is smoother (this is way too rough), uniform across all teeth, and has a characteristic yellow brown look to it. You should also notice that the enamel that does remain is clean and white, which is inconsistent with the dye in coca cola. I'm not sure what this is, but it isn't from coca cola.
