All right, that's something. But if the statistics only show an advantage of being raised by one's biological parents rather than gay adoptive parents, it might only indicate an advantage over being adopted in general. Are there studies that control for this, and show a distinct advantage among children adopted by straight couples as opposed to same-sex couples?

You'd have to further select for race, but generally foster children are worse off. But you can do your own comparison analysis with these studies and the one above
