We're big on salmon here in Norway and pride ourselves on the fish being "sushi"-quality (Can eat it raw.) It's still mandatory to freeze the fish for 24 hours to get rid of even the possibility for parasites like this.

But I found it strange that Arizona (a place with no salt water access) would have been able to get the salmon from the sea (most farm bred fish come from the sea, even salmon) without freezing it at all. But a quick check on the map shows a lot of fresh water rivers in Arizona. If I were to guess, this is fresh produce never been frozen from local freshwater fishermen. At least I hope it is because the alternative is that it's farmed fish from the sea that weren't frozen during transport.
