This must be one of those deadly jobs that feminists are just fine letting men do.

Yup, 98.2%.

How does he not notice for that long? That shit was coming down right next to him, like inches away.

Can someone who spends their time in steel mills explain what is happening to those of use here that do not?

Looks like some bozo forgot to load the fleeb.

First they take the dingle bop and they smooth it out with a bunch of schleem. The schleem is then repurposed for later batches.

They take the dingle bop and they push it through the grumbo, where the fleeb is rubbed against it. It's important that the fleeb is rubbed, because the fleeb has all the fleeb juice.

Then, a schlami shows up, and he rubs it and spits on it.

They cut the fleeb. There's several hizzards in the way.

The blamfs rub against the chumbles, and the plubis, and grumbo are shaved away.

That leaves you with...a regular old plumbus. And I think the rest is self explanatory...

Always double check your dingle bops before attempting to fleeb.

Sounds to me like you've been out of the steel trade for while. We stopped using grumbos in the 90's because the they're not so efficient at FJ extraction. So now we use a skcollob in reverse.

Don't work at one, but they are making bar steel. It goes through a series of dies and rollers to reach final size ordered. There is space between those dies and rollers for cooling of the outer surface and so the steel is gradually reducec to diameter called for. The steel is very hot a flexible as we all saw. At one if those dyes something keep it from going through, the steel was still being pushed from behind and had to escape somewhere, so into the open space between the dyes.

The mill had an orgasm.

Taken from Vagijn's explanation comment on Reddit:
It's molten steel forged in to piping/rails. Molten steel to the far right, the 'line' you are seeing is the pipe/rail being formed by pushing it between steel rolls.

Something further down in the mill blocked the line, so the newly formed piping/rails had nowhere to go but up / outside of the mill.

De glowing spaghetti is white hot steel, and it looks like one operator (the one turning his back) was hit by it before taking cover.

You see the other operator frantically waving at some unseen operator down the line to shut the line down, which happend in the end.

Cleanup is 'simply' waiting until the steel has cooled down and taking heavy machinery to it.

They definitely do not use jet fuel in that factory.

yeah, they just want to soften it, not actually melt it.

That's white hot steel. Imagine, that is heavy, hot, metal. I couldn't find the original, but here is another steel mill accident like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4p-YCtbhMQ

Figures it's a white shirt that almost gets crushed by burning steel. Shame he forgot his clipboard.
