I'd also recommend looking at https://img.bi (they're encrypted)

Thanks for adding my site, pixeldrain! Could you please move it to the list of "Made by voaters"? I first introduced it on /v/whatever (Didn't know where else to put it) https://www.voat.co/v/whatever/comments/240914

I also frequently post update news on /v/PixelDrain :)

Might I also suggest Cubeupload. I've used it for a while and it's petty damn good.

I've been compiling a list with pros & cons over at /r/imguralternatives.

BTW your slimgur link is fucked. Fix it.

Anyway, https://upload.teknik.io is used already on reddit/other sites to host lossless files (I believe imgur compresses files over 5MB), and does NOTHING but host your files (which can be ANY format, not just images) It doesn't require any javascript, has no ads, and encrypts the files and then decrypts them server side when you use the image link. (I think that's just to prevent someone from raiding the server and easily reading the file, it's not entirely secure, seeing as you're basically posting the link on a public website)

Server side decryption is more useful when you want to use tools like wget or curl to download the image.

Thanks for the plug! I'm the creator of teknik and I can confirm that the server side encryption is to prevent someone from raiding the files if they got access to the server. (The filenames are different from the link names as well). We do have plans in the future to allow a user to better secure their uploads, without impacting existing functionality.

ipfs.pics is also very nice. It works on a peer to peer filesystem called ipfs, so you can always access the pictures even if their servers are down.

I've started to use infotomb.com. It's anonymous, you can upload any file up to 25 MB in size, and you can set time-to-live.

I just built this: https://voatpic.me/

It is built to be minimalistic so it is fast. More details here: https://voat.co/v/ideasforvoat/comments/262526

Still adding features as I build it out but it should be stable enough for day to day use
