Thank you for comprehending my topic, and communicating in a coherent and on-topic way. Yes, your point is well taken, about maintaining a 'hard core.' That, I assume, is why 4chan has been a source of several valuable thing online, and that is why Voat is still a special place.

Normies who are dedicated to remaining such, are not who I have in mind. I am thinking of those who are noticing that as society appears to be dissolving at an escalating speed, the mainstream media are not actually reporting on relevant things. For sure, there are lots of 'alternative media' news sites, already, and I assume they are growing in number. My thought is that, because Voat appears to me the best place for relevant content, Voat would also be a source of the best content for those looking for information outside msm. You could relate it to Linux, where some distros are made to seem more familiar to Windows users who are interested in trying Linux out.
