I feel like this community is very immature when it comes to reddit, especially v/voat. Everytime someone even mentions it, 9/10 times it turns into a giant circlejerk basically being "Pao is the worst CEO ever" and "It's turning into Digg already".
This guy explains my dilemma better:
"I also feel like the majority of voat are reddit haters. You've got this huge anti-reddit circlejerk. Nobody is like 'yeah just came to voat because I prefer it.' It's more along the lines of something like 'yeah came to voat, even though it's lacking in features and is never up, because there's no illuminati hitler admins cenz0ring my freedom!!'"
Just to clarify, I'm not a voat hater. I'm just really annoyed by the reddit hate sink.

I heard of Voat through reddit and gave it a go, liked it, stayed.
I still browse reddit from time to time. But that's the problem... browse. Only when I really feel it is worth commenting I do so. On here it's more natural to.
It's good to move on, I feel. Twitter no longer itches my scratch. B3ta is past its day, and others too. I'm sure, down the line, something else will come along to peak my interest.
Personally I have no attachment to Pow or whatever her name is. And when Victoria left I thought, that's unfortunate. She seemed to play a big part in the community. Didn't feel as if I needed to lose my shit over it.
