Yes, I think more people will die. Should VR be blamed? No, people with no responsibility should be blamed. The media will have a field day though when it happens.

Eh, you can argue that VR being "better than real life" to certain people will increase the possibility of them doing stupid stuff like that.

I guess it all comes down to self-control and I feel the people who have been able to stop themselves from doing this before will have no problem with doing the same with VR.

Unfortunately, there are the people who can't control themselves so I guess they will always be at risk, maybe slightly more when VR becomes widespread.

All in all, my opinion, there will probably be a slight increase, not suddenly 50 deaths per day.

I think this could be a big problem. Remember the whole era of world of warcraft? And how these people just melted into the game and that was all that mattered?

With drone delivery's and virtual VR sex all going on now, covering basic needs and the fact that this time around (unlike the first wave of VR in the 90's) the technology will be mobile (phones), thus allowing people to sit anywhere and experience it.... I think lots of people could go into VR and have a hard time coming backout. zoiks!
