What happened to Britain? British humour is world renowned. Everybody knows Monty Python and UK sit-coms. Could British people have lost their sense of humour? That would be very strange, wouldn't it, bizarre, even. When did British people stop laughing and start being offended?
If you can't make a joke in the UK, is it also verboten, I mean forbidden, to laugh? Do Brits have to stop laughing or face arrest?
If they try and take away your sense of humour, there isn't much left, is there? I am surprised that this has happened at all. There are a lot of very witty barristers in the UK who I am sure could savage this ruling.
In the meanwhile, no smiling! :)

John Cleese once goose-stepped around a hotel with his finger across his lip like a hitler moustache and then dressed up as a Nazi with the specific goal of offending German characters- of course then we knew the joke was on the rageaholic Basil Fawlty, not on the Germans- we laughed at our own intolerance. Oh, and that was on the BBC and funded by tax payers
