You can scan /v/askvoat for a lot of good info, just sort it by top links and read from there. As far as I know there is no guide and that is why I made this post. You can also look up the user Atko and read his submissions. He is the admin and makes posts regarding changes he implements to the algorithm. Just a few days ago he implemented the ability for people to see what has been removed from a subreddit and the reason the moderator gave for removal. He is doing a great job imo.

I agree. So far it seems like there is a lot of potential. The openness between the admins and the users is a great feature. Ill check out both of the suggestions you mentioned and then try and compile what I find. Thanks again.
