Police investigate shattered windows
Loveland Police responded to a report of window that was broken out of a semi-truck while it was driving northbound on Interstate 25 just north of U.S. 34 Friday morning.
A release from Loveland Police Department spokesman Sgt. Justin Chase stated Leland Sloan, 59, of Parker was driving a UPS semi truck when his driver side window broke; he immediately pulled over to the side of the highway.
Sloan was injured and taken to an area hospital — the release did not say how the man was injured in this incident.
These shootings stopped at the end of the school year in June and now that school is back in session their picking up again, this would make the second or third semi truck that got hit and the first truck driver that has gotten injured. The police in the article claim that the shootings aren't connected to the previous ones but they have said that about every one along with releasing little to no information to the public to help catch them. Assuming the two in this article are connected to the previous ones there are also two deaths and another injury.
I drive this route daily and it is heavily traveled by many truckers hopefully someone can help get this person(s) caught.
