What makes you think that none of us here would know what good science looks like or how to interpret the results of a good study? If you think that being trad means we're drooling retards or Luddites, think again.

If you're a woman, you're unlikely to be any kind of Scientist. If you're a trad woman, you're extremely unlikely to be any kind of Scientist. Hell, I'll even go so far as to say most people aren't scientists. The same way a doctor wouldn't expect me to know what the proper treatment for Trychinosis is, I don't expect any of you to know what a sound, rigorously controlled study looks like. Much less what the esoteric results of one might suggest.

If you think that being trad means we're drooling retards or Luddites, think again.

You're taking this personally, and it's not letting you see what's happening. I already made the post OOTB asked for and now I'm waiting to talk to her about the science that goes into these studies.

I don't think we have to be scientists in order to learn what a sound, rigourously-controlled study looks like or what its results suggest. That's essentially my argument. I also wouldn't necessarily need to be a doctor in order to know how one condition or another should be treated...honestly, with the state of healthcare in my area, we kinda have to go into a doctor's appointment having an idea about what's wrong and what we need, because often the doctors you'll see aren't very interested in investigating your symptoms or treating the cause.

Basically, don't discount us or our ability to know things like this. As one person already showed you, one can be trad and also be a scientist - or at the very least, educated!
