Yeah, the number of "I can't function without coffee tee hee" or "wine wine WIIIIIIINE" or "we're all crazy I'm so crazy everyone's just super the craziest" posts I see from other moms and wives on facebook is enough to make me wanna quit facebook. It gets old quickly. People drink way more wine than they need to sometimes and don't realize that it's a problem they should address rather than a jokey thing to snicker about online. Wine once and a while is delicious. The occasional lemonade with bourbon in it is also fine. Drinking every day...mmm, probably best be careful with that.

EDIT the only thing worse than those posts are the ones where they make fun of their husbands. Husband is a big child. Husband is incompetent. Husband turns into a whiny little baby if he gets the sniffles (no, Karen, he didn't have the sniffles, he had the same stomach virus you and your kids all had, which YOU complained about publicly while you were infected!). I never know what to say because I don't want to be "that friend" who's a wet blanket. But man, I wonder how so many women can feel so comfortable pointing and laughing at their husbands online like that. It's rude!

True on all points. I made a pretty big mistake once and disclosed too much personal info about me and my husband to a close friend. Fortunately, my friend is totally trustworthy but it got me thinking, 'how would I feel if the roles were reversed?'. It was then that I remembered that old rule, "Don't do anything you wouldn't want done to you". Live and learn.
