And also a spendy husband stresses out a wife thats in charge of a budget. Save for big items and
discuss major purchases. Live within your means and use credit sparingly. My wife and I have been operating this way for 40 years. Debt is an anchor and will sink you. It also takes teamwork. Our last child
of three just graduated college 2 years ago, none had school loans and are debt free. They also didn't attend some ivy league money pit. Its doable.
I’d argue though that most women don’t buy stuff that expensive because it’s way out of their price range. Of course they desire to though. If anything they spend more money on a bunch of smaller things that add up to be the same. Imagine having that much money though where the example in the photo was a bunch of smaller things that added up to even more than what your average American makes in an entire year or two.
Wtf why would it take 72 months to pay off a car. If its financed for that long you should be making extra payments toward the principal. It should only take you 3 years(36months) max to pay it off.
Women used to be in charge of budgets. They had the time in the day to do the shopping and make sure she was thrifty with the money. Her husband worked hard to earn it and she works hard to make it last.
I don't think I've met a woman I'd trust with my money, like that.

My husband always says, "I trust you to be a good steward of our money". Really makes me think before making unnecessary purchases- I like that he trusts me and don't ever want to mess that up.

This is why every household needs a budget and spouses need accountability. Open books without micromanaging every dime.

I have to harass the girlfriend to buy new clothes. She wears everything until it's falling apart.
