Try making an argument without sarcasm... What I hear you saying is, "...But I want to see the little girls belly button!" Or do you not know about child predation? This is clearly in the public and those girls are clearly too young to be that scantily clad. Modesty, especially in today's society, needs to be taught from home.

Dude its a belly button you are freaking out over. You are acting like they are running around naked with a tattoo between their legs saying, "Insert clinton foundation member's penis here"

I see children wearing thongs near me.

That stuff will make it's way to your town eventually too. You should encourage modesty.

tired of degeneracy faggotry. It starts by something little like “it’s just a belly button”. Next thing you know, people start talking about child consent, idolizing sexualizing children. Realize degeneracy usually isn’t outright. It starts with something little and grows, like a cancer. This shit wouldn’t have been acceptable 50y ago. They measure females bathing suits from their knees. Now goto a beach, can see her fucking rubber balloon knot poking out the sides of an expensive why-bother g string. If you do not already know this about society and degeneracy, calm your fucking hormones a read revolt of the masses, or illumination of the mind, and for fuck sake keep your hands of your dick. Also ya not good for the girls self image

I wasn't aware I was freaking out... I'm suggesting that it would be better for mother's to encourage modesty than condone allowing their daughters to bare a majority of their skin in public. I just so happen to be aware that you cannot control who would view your children in a public space. Great job using hyperbole to misrepresent my message. I agree with you that women should be able to freely express themselves in their lives, but human nature has proven time and time again that evil, true evil, exists and must be guarded against. Perhaps you have a more lax view of good and evil. Perhaps you aren't aware of or even more likely do not believe in moral absolutes. Maybe you don't have problems with the over-arching, lifelong cultural implications of allowing immodesty and immoral, abusive thoughts to go unchecked by individuals. I welcome your reply to these propositions, because while I believe in civil discourse and free speech, I also believe your staunch defense of underage girls to wear bikinis as showing 'just bellybuttons' makes clear your preference. Perhaps I am incorrect in my assessment of your nature in defending the wearing of revealing clothing by underage girls and subsequent pushback against my comment encouraging behavior in these girls and their mothers to be more modest and I would welcome a correction.

The "dude it's a ___ you're freaking out over." Can be applied to literally anything.

It's on par with such arguments as: "It's <current year>, how is this a thing?" "Wow, just wow." "How absolutely dare you?!" "You know who else did/said ____? Hitler!" And many other shitty arguments that prove and demonstrate nothing.
