I haven't decided if I'm doing the whipped cream and food coloring or a bag or rice and food coloring. I've tried the dipping the eggs in water and food coloring way before and it's such a mess and pain with the kids and they really don't seem that interested anyway.
I need to have carrot cake on Easter, just seems more like Easter with it. It's my grandmas recipe and super simple.

I can see the cake in my head. Please tell me that you put little icing carrots on top :D
I haven't seen either of those methods used before, be interested to hear how that turns out.

I don't but I could, maybe I will for fun this yr.
I did the rice one one yr. turned out pretty well and was no mess. The kids did crack a few eggs though.
I've heard good things about the shaving cream and food coming one but I like to eat our hard boiled eggs so I saw the same idea with whipped cream.
