Even though she works outside the home, they still embrace traditional family values and a traditional family lifestyle. It's very refreshing to see a family that isn't parading around waving a flag of "disfunctional" as the status quo. I really enjoy watching their program.

Don't forget, traditional doesn't mean the wife doesn't work. That was a very short thing in history. It's that you put family and your relationship with your spouse first. I personally don't like women who work hard physical labor jobs (oil field, construction etc.) because it's a huge turn off. But a woman who had talents and uses them is perfectly fine. Too many people think traditional means home maker. But through human history women have worked and had important roles to play. But family always came first.
