And that's the sad part, a woman should know how to cook and take care of her family. Most modern women bring nothing to the table in terms of relationship and marriage.

The good news is that women are turning away from feminism in droves. While they may not have been raised to be wives, they're actively learning as many skills as they can and playing catch up. There are thousands of youtube channels dedicated to this.

Can confirm. My daughters mother does absolutely nothing other than watch him and care for him during the day. I clean, vacuum, etc.

I was one of them :( I had no idea how to cook, clean or manage money on my own. My dad taught me to sew/mend clothes and iron (because mum didn't) my Grandmother taught me how to knit. I had one meal I know how to cook. But that was it. I bumbled along teaching myself. My husband was patient as he was just as clueless about these things. Then once I feel pregnant it was like a switch was flipped and I became obsessed with learning how to do these things properly. It vital that I knew how to cook (and cook well - healthy and nutritious food) & clean properly so I could take care on my family. No its seems unbelievable to me that I lasted without these skills for so long.

Yup. Lots of men can cook. I can cook better than my sister. Many of the men in my family are cooks. Cooking is manly. You use fire, and knives on a daily basis!

the worse is when they take pride in their failure to cook anything more than microwave level.

I hate this shit. Don't take pride in something you cannot do. It's not cute.

"Teehee! I'm like, so bad at cooking; I'm such a basic white girl!"

I hate that shit.

And what's worse are the smartass, catty little bitches that respond to the question "Can you cook?" with "Well, can you build a house?" Listen bitch, a house takes time, resources, and manpower while cooking is taking care of your nuclear family. Holy fuck does that get me angry.

the thing is worse case with out looking it up online, could you make a house? not instantly, but if you were out in the wild and you had a team (your family) you probably could make a makeshift tent or something.

so the answer to the question is yes, you could build a house.

Actually I can do both.

I do microwaving regularly, so I doubt they can truly harness the power of the microwave. They probably can't even reset the clock on the microwave after DST or a power outage.

The last generation of mothers was too busy working to pay the bills. Our country is becoming poorer every decade and parents not being around to hand down skills is a side effect of this.

Its also interesting that when people stop buying items& services suddenly much better prices or packages appear.

A good portion of current pricing models are flawed to outright bs.

It started because women started entering the work force. The basic laws of supply and demand tell you what happens to wages when the supply of labor doubles. The economy as a whole keeps growing, but the "dividends" of that growth have to be spread amongst more people. The growth in the number of people entering the workforce consumes the economic growth, so wages remain flat. It's the reason businesses are so interested in maintaining floods of immigrants to industrialized countries, too.

Econ 101 - If you want wages to grow, you have two options: either get the economy to grow faster than the population, or restrict the supply of labor. There are no other options.

I'm a good cook. Better than any girlfriend I've ever had, save the current one. She might be a little shy of me when comparing cooking but she destroys me in baking.

IMO, any good dude will know how to cook. It isn't complicated. I can throw down in the kitchen and the grill and the campfire

Idk, men have always had a thing for grilling or barbecue, men have been Chef's for a long time. Some of the best cooks I've known have been men.

I cook because I took the time to learn, I'm not great but can feed myself and others healthily without sacrificing taste. My take is this though, if a female can't cook better than me, I don't want her. And I don't want to be tempted to take a slack ass slut because I don't know how to cook anything.

Don't know how many guys "Yeah but she can cook", and she cooks like shit, usually shit out of a box, and half the town has done fucked her completely stupid, and although she's an exceptional whore, she's never going to be a half-assed house wife.

If young men's mothers and father love them, they will make sure they know how to cook more than Ramen & microwave burritos.

It was the baby boomer's parents that lost the plot. They went for Campbell's soup and Sugar Pops. They also adopted Dr. Spock's child rearing method of raising narcissists as if it was holy writ. Skills like knitting and crocheting were seen as useless because Japan could mass produce it all for nothing.

Thanks, mom. You didn't teach me everything but you taught me a lot.
