Last week I made calcium powder out of leftover eggshells. It took 15 minutes of actual labor to make 4oz of powder. It can take hours for the egg shells to dry enough to grind though. I buy my eggs from a local farmer so I know exactly what the chickens are fed. In my research, I learned that eggshell tea was once a traditional beverage in many cultures but has since been lost.
