I plan to teach my kids farming, the true value of money and business skills even when they are young. My wife will teach them cooking, self defence and how to sell yourself. None of these things are taught to children in school. Even if they drop out of highschool and the miss the opportunity to do these electives (honestly, i wish I dropped out of school, such a waste of time), they will have more useful skills than those that stayed. Aside from financial, you cant really put most of these skills down on paper. So screw it.

Kids are just taught how to take test in public schools. I like your plan of teaching them real skills. Have you listened to this?

I watched it. I feel he missed some important points, but I still hold the same opinion. I already hire people who have practical ability over paper ability. In Australia there is also a massive industry in paying other people to do your school work for you and its very prevalent in people who immigrate here for education purposes.
