WD40 door hinges, especially exterior doors. Remember WD40 is clear when you start seeing all that dirt come out.

I use wax for my hinge pins when installing, so I should be covered there.

We had our first 80 degree day this week. Sucks to be still thawing out.

Hose down the exterior of your house. This removes dirt and pollutants that reduce the life of your paint job.

Do you use a soap? or just a pressure hose?

[–] baneofretail [S] 0 points 1 points (+1|-0) ago

Just the hose, no soap.

Prune the trees

But prune lightly, don't top the tree, this will prevent it from growing 3 feet in one season.

Thatching the lawn, reseeding, fertilizing. Installing the sprinkler system, spring cleaning on the shop, prune the apple, pear, plum, and cherry trees.

Our sprinkler system stays in the ground year round here.

So will mine after I get it installed.

Drain your water heater tank — hook up a drained hose to the tank spigot, run the line out of the house or garage onto the driveway (or any area on a decline) to allow gravity to drain the heater tank. Open the spigot until the water runs clear. Unhook the line, and raise it above your head and walk the line to drain it. Do this after everyone has showered and out of the house for an hour or so to allow the water to heat back up

I like it. I'll have to add this to my list.
