Ya but sometimes they would come home drunk and beat everyone.

Sometimes still happens.

That was one of the justifications for Prohibition. I haven't seen any kind of study of domestic violence rates pre, during, and post Prohibition.

Sadly, back in the day that was acceptable.

I never understood how people stay steamy after work. Im happy leaving and knowing i dont have to deal with bullshit for a while.

It usually stems from the boss making that particular person feel inadequate. That eats away at your self-worth, making you feel vulnerable, hence why you lash out. Misery loves company.

Only after you analyze your actions, and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you're not what they say you are, will you feel truly calm.

That, or don't give a shit about anything you do; but I don't support this type of mentality for obvious reasons.

I honestly have no idea. It took me a while to find it again so I could post it on here, actually. I first saw it a couple of years ago and it really stuck with me.

It looks like it's from an advocacy group that started to call attention to domestic violence and the long-term affects it had on the family back in the 60s, but it could very well have been created recently too.

Yah, another point is you don't always have to make you SO feel better. Guy or Gal. If they are in a foul mood make a first attempt at cheering em up and if it's not working. Just leave em alone for a bit. Just because your guy or gal is upset don't mean your not doing your job.

Now if they been home pouting for hours...Time for a suck it up buttercup moment. Specially if you got kids together.
