Before much longer you'll realize that Voat is a really free place. Mods have no power here; they are too easily dealt with. If you find your mods are deleting more content than you think they should be, note that there are alternative subverses and that you can always see what they ban. Here, here, and here. At least no users have been banned yet; that would probably be a Voat community record.

Already three submissions and one comment has been banned, in only 14 hours, all with the (rather poor) explanation: "fake and gay"

Hello all,

I see that there is a bit of division between the two subs. We should unite together into one place. From what I've heard, the problem seems to be that the mods of ThePedes want to remain mods, but TheDonald doesn't want them to because they have (possibly legitimate) concerns that they'll abuse their power.

I think everyone, including the mods, needs to remember what voat stands for, and the reason so many are coming here from rebbit.

You may personally not approve of calling someone a nigger or kike, but that doesn't mean you need to, or should, ban people that do so. If what is said is so very offensive, let the user-base sort it out by voting.
