Hiding and cowering is a very low energy thing to do. Strength is standing your ground in the face of adversity, looking it in the eyes and never giving up.

Mod drama has systematically chipped away at The_Donald. You saw it with the Milo donation scam, you saw it with Mr.Trump drama, the endless in fighting. Say what you want about the late ciswhitemaelstrom, at least he knew not to give the kikes of reddit an extension of the olive branch--once they get hold of it, they are going to pull more and more until the community is uprooted.

Never give up. The mod team extended the olive branch by allowing the admins to single out and impose on the community. Mods should have stood their ground with iron feet. Can you imagine the shitshow if they banned the subreddit on which Trump himself did a Q&A?

As it was, The_Donald was a good stepping stone for normies to see the path to enlightenment. Regardless of the relentless mod drama, the community remained unified and was growing every day. We all want the same thing. We all want to MAGA. We all want to see our neighbor realize the toxicity and country-destroying nature of the blue pill. We all want people to free themselves from the psychological tethers imposed by the globalist agenda.

We are a movement. We remain a movement which no mod drama can stop. Because of the mods display of weakness and cowardice, a large target has been painted on our backs. But this community has been brought together and anointed by God. Whether it's here, theDonald, The_Donald, whatever, we all want the same thing. I implore all of us to stand together as brothers.

I do not like seeing a war between this subverse and thedonald. With the_donald's migration, the shills are soon to follow. Expect new accounts to exploit this division in the community, just like they did with the mr.trump subreddit. Be prepared.

This fight is for the future of America and the world. If we are to be moderated, the mods need to get together with the mods from thedonald and community members and figure it the fuck out. Our movement doesn't need hurdles caused by compromised, divided or shit leadership. As a long-time member for both, I do not come here because of you (the mods). I come here because of us (the movement). I come here to Make America Great Again.

I can see how going dark could have had merit if done right. If we could have gone private and put an observable dent in Reddit's traffic for a little while only to return just in time to brag about it and drop fat red pills over this summer's happenings it would have been great. Instead we got this bizarre "go to war with other subs!" and "like maybe go to Voat or something idk lol!" and then nothing. So we're not costing Reddit traffic because too many people are probably trolling in r/all or trying to seek refuge in other subreddits, but we're also not meaningfully reorganizing somewhere else. We'll be okay because like you said no mod drama can stop us. But holy shit this is bad timing, they either got us good with a long-planned mod coup or the mods acted like fucking idiots.

This combined with the timing has me and others thinking our mod team was compromised.

I agree with you. I still don't understand why an "us vs. them" narrative took center stage. If the point was to put a dent in Reddit's traffic, why encourage the community to go brigade other sudreddits, thus increasing their traffic? It would be like telling your kids no more cookies, but before you put the bag away, you dump half of the cookies on the table.

If they wanted to draw attention, they could have just went dark without warning, with a powerful, yet fairly vague statement, then built up hype for its return. In the meantime they could have worked to end the bullshit rules behind closed doors, temporarily free of the time-consuming moderator duties.

But no, we get a retarded and clearly emotion-driven call-to-action statement, which got the moderators banned and shined poorly on the community. Only to have the moderators reactively go dark to avoid being harassed and doxed by the same cucks they declared war on. The mods reacted on emotion instead of thinking it through.

I'm not trying to demonize the mods. This was just so poorly executed and uncharacteristic, it makes you wonder what the hell is going on.

The only problem most of us have is the lack of sidebar transparency. Voat's moderation philosophy has pretty much become an issue of establishing clearly defined rules to govern private subs. Mods that wade through content using their delete as a disagree button are going to be reviled.
