I agree with some points you make, especially in regards to transparent pricing. However, I don't think the government is the answer.

A hospital in Oklahoma started posting prices online, set prices that they guaranteed. They did this nearly a decade ago. Why would they do this while others don't?

Surgery Center of Oklahoma does accept private insurance, but the center does not accept Medicaid or Medicare.

Dr. Smith said federal Medicare regulation would not allow for their online price menu.

They have avoided government regulation and control in that area by choosing not to accept Medicaid or Medicare payments.

Medicare/Medicaid is a problem that's has become a black hole. Along with social security, it needs to be sunsetted. Just get out of it all together.

That’s awesome!

So, here is another example of how their is shenanigans going on in the background that tax payers pay for.

If you do depend on obamacare or Medicaid or even the VA for medical care, odds are your doctor's gonna be some retarded immigrant who got the position through some sort of quota and you'll continue to suffer for years while he makes wild guesses at a diagnosis.

Why is that though?!?

Why are Americans ok to accept that is ok?!?

Doctors do make guess so I can see that happening anyways but still, we could have one of the greatest health care systems in world if we cut out 3rd party insurers and remade the government system. We would have to enforce a minimum education level requirement on government employees to weed out all the dumb fucks who have a nice office and do shit all day.
