LOL You might get whisked around quite a bit! I'm like going to be seriously busy. I'm going to be more selective about where and when I personally perform, but the band still has to work and earn a living. So, they're getting tossed into the meat grinder, even if that means doubling up the shows and working a couple of nights a week, or even more. They've got to do it while it's peak times of the year to hire this kind of band. We're not getting called out to do a Christmas show at the mall, well not more than once.

So, we've got to earn the entire year's salary and do it mostly during tourist season. It's not easy.

I will be present for those shows. I will be present for all of them. I may not always take the stage. They do fine without me, for a number of venue types. It hurts to stand up that long and move around carrying an 11 pound Les Paul.

Interestingly enough I hand whisk things. Never got around to getting a proper kitchen maid thingamabobby but it’s okay my egg whites come out purty! It’s on my list though ;) so I ain’t scared of no whisking now ya hear?

Sounds like your teaching has certainly taken on a different level, possibly for the better. I know you anticipated being more physically involved but you have to admit you took them from local yokals to professional performers in one year. Nicely done! :)
