Spread the good news! My parents became naturalized citizens. They worked their backsides off to establish themselves in the USA and to give us a good start in a free land. They were always supportive of tight border controls and enforcement of our nation's immigration laws. If they could do it by the rules, learn a new language, work honestly for a living, and wait their turn for a green card and citizenship, then anyone else could do it too. It's a matter of respect for those who have invited one into a new homeland. I am not surprised that many families in Texas are of recent immigrant stock and view it similarly. These are keepers!
