Let's ignore for a moment that a man with no political experience won a senate seat in 1997 and then the presidency all in a span of 10 years coming out of no where and then won the Nobel Peace Price in the first month of his presidency.
Watching the medial stumble over itself to praise Obama while snubbing other presidential candidates, even HRC it was overt and obvious. I mean, watching the democratic debates in 2007 where Obama would be given softball questions and then before HRC could give a rebuttal the networks would cut to commercial or be told outright she wouldn't be able to rebut due to a lack of time, it was painful to watch the manipulation and favoritism.
Summing up Obama's career, it has all the hallmarks of a diversity hire.
Most Americans dismiss Obama note because they are racists, but because they have experienced worse socio-economic conditions under his leadership. "Racists", as the modern definition includes any white person who points out and complains about the systemic racism against them, aren't going to care if the president is black so long as socio-economically they're doing better.
I don't particularly consider myself a racist. Under Obama's leadership I experienced overt racism against me in both social and professional environments. That racism has become systemic. So while I would hope we could all get along, it was under Obama's presidency that I realized that politically that the color of a candidate's skin truly does matter least you have people who are living a life of financial success and security, a life you will never have, running around telling you how oppressed they are because they have brown skin and how horrible you are because of your white skin.
I didn't vote for Obama. Thanks to Obama I certainly will never vote for a black man.
