What if, let's be crazy for a moment, WHAT IF the productive people of society just got to keep their money and then spent it themselves on having productive children and paid for their own insurance?

Before immigration laws were changed to permit people of NO means of support to come here, immigrants used to pay taxes as well. Now they are too often supported by citizens, men and women. Trump's recent order to deny many welfare benefits to green card holders should give relief to actual citizens.

Would lead to nonproductive people starving, and likely killing productive people over their resources when they got the chance. Then society would collapse. That's assuming productive people didn't band together in some way to avoid this (cast out the poor? kill?). Starvation directly increases aggression and violence while decreasing higher cognitive function. What would probably solve all our problems in one generation is a form of eugenics where you had to EARN the right to reproduce by proving you are able to be a productive member of society by an objective standard. We could still feed people on welfare basic rations and allow them to try and become active participants in society. This would be the most humane way to stabilize society IMO.

Under Emergency Nation rules socialists and other violent religions are exiled.

You are also exiled if you can't pay the yearly citizen fee or do service instead.

in regard to the post I'm just talking about the problems in the system we have, rather than passing judgement on the system
