Honestly, it was not a great move. They should have just ignored the NFL completely until this BS protest done.

EDIT: Circle jerk all you want. He acted like a whiny little pussy by walking out. It did nothing to help and everything to hurt. And it played right into their hands.

Sane people have been ignoring the lunacy of the liberal fascists for far too long. It's time to say "no" to them.

So he legitimized their protest now. He said it is fine to politicize the NFL all you want with the stupid little stunt.

I totally agree -- Trump of all people should understand that maxim "all press is good press", the whole idea of going to a game to get up and leave is frankly pretty stupid especially when you start considering the entourage required for the VPOTUS to go anywhere.

Pence (and by association, Trump) would have had, IMO, more impact making a statement that he would join the rest of America in solidarity by not going (until they got their shit together, whatever).

This sort of "Made for TV" drama is below the office of the President of the United States.

I think the message they wanted to send was for people to turn their backs on the protestors and the NFL. But reality is that they said it is acceptable to politicize sports like this. Trump and Pence can't come out and say that the players have a right to protest, just at a different time and place. Too late since they joined into the garbage.
