I recently started reading The Art of the Deal. I've heard good things about it even years ago before Trump even considered running for president, and I wanted to have a glimpse inside his head. It's interesting, learning about his perspective and way of thinking put to paper over 30 years ago, long before he even thought about running for a public office. I was particularly amused by one passage in the first chapter, where he describes writing a letter to an architecture critic who was less than kind to him--it read exactly like one of Trump's tweets. A master shitposter before posting, shit- or otherwise, was even a thing.
But as I read through the book, I can't help but think: what would he have to say about current events 10-20 years from now? The media assaults on him, the application of his business thinking toward politics, his strategy/tactics against the Deep State pedo fucks. I wish I could know his thoughts on all of this, and I hope and pray after his eight-year administration, he writes a book about the campaign, the Presidency, and everything in-between. I wish I could take him to a bar and buy him a bunch of Diet Cokes and just ask him questions.
