As someone searching now, its painful to see the current market. I can not for the life of me find a way to move beyond a certain salary range. This would be fine, except for the fact i know companies can pay more, especially fortune ones. Funnily enough, the biggest proponents of H1b reform are ... american indians. Just like us, they dont want to get fucked by shitty H1b candidates

Its criminal really. How am I supposed to compete with someone who will work below market and below a livable wage? These companies will hire H-1B's and shack'em up somewhere and its still cheaper than hiring American.

Consumers need to be smarter. If you care about the environment, your local economy, working standards, and overall product quality; don't just use price in deciding what you buy and where you shop.

True.... but will they ever wise up? I vote no, but I'm a very cynical person.

If people weren't such bastards things would be much better. I think there's hope. All the faggoty "organic gluten free local whatever" is actually beneficial for the small local guys.

If people would apply this to most everything (especially electronics), as well as get the FUCK off the "stupid consumer -- gotta buy it ALL!!!" mindset, we'd be making lots of progress. If people bought LESS shit, they could probably afford BETTER shit.
