Problem is most of Trump 'lies' are exaggerations or facts people don't like, while Clinton actually compulsively lies.

You also have examples like where Sanders had said the real young black unemployment was 40-50% and was given Half True and Trump said it was 50+% and was given Pants on Fire. Clearly no bias here.

Well when all those exaggerations are added up, there is a greater number and the result is the rating you see. From that perspective, his politifact rating makes sense. It is not weighted on severity of the lie.

It is fair for breaking the 50% line for the pants on fire rating. That is an important threshold to break when considering any poll or societal margin.
