Don't use Voat for your flamewar.

? If anything, Voat could use this as an opportunity to pull users from their competitor...

Voat already has a community. Please don't use this site as a jumping off point to harass reddit.

tbh this site doesn't need a rapid influx of all of t_d just yet, imo. If that were to happen, then wouldn't this place just become the_donald (and friends) the website?

It seems like there needs to be more groundwork in subs about "muh science" and things like that. I'm sure you could get a vocal group of people that want to discuss an actual topic like biology in depth, and not circlejerk around pictures of Neil DeGrasse-Tyson talking like a stoner about how we're made of universe juice.

I'm okay with this too. Don't want a bunch of refugees suddenly crossing borders and raping subverses

I've spent about 10 minutes browsing subverses and I'm happy to be here. Will be respectful and not rape your women.

What's a supermod?

[–] 7009809? 0 points 2 points (+2|-0) ago

Voat does have a special mod level (similar to "Janitor" or "Designer" called a Submitter.

This moderation level is basically powerless in a subverse except that they can submit to Authorized Only subverses. This allows moderators of curated subverses to add submitters without exposing moderator functions. These moderators have an [S] designation on the moderator list.

It also has the added bonus of allowing subverses to let users get around the posting limits for a single subverse.

That being said, the only person who has more power on a subverse (besides Atko and PuttItOut, in the event of bad mods taking over a popular subverse) than a "Moderator" is the subverse's "Owner", which in this case is @stanky_bawls (who seems to have taken a 4-month-long vacation), while the two current moderators (who would have a higher priority for the "Owner" position than any regular users) are both still very active.

What do you have against vacations?

Basically a SuperUser... expanded powers over a normal community moderator

Is he the main moderator, the "owner" of the sub?

I ask because SuperMod sounds like PowerMod, (someone who controls a lot of communities and uses this power for his own interests) and this is something we don't cherish. So maybe the name is not the best.

Also, this is for 4chan / 8ch?

No. Reddit has to burn to the ground first, taking millions of cucked users with it.
