Is there a place to look at what's gonna be on sale, or is it pretty much gonna be a free-for-all?

I would like to know, also. It's their 20th anniversary so it should be massive!

I keep saying I need an electric kettle, maybe I'll finally pull the trigger. And now that you mention it, am SSD would be pretty rad.

I'm hoping to get some kitchen stuff. Either a food processor or a professional blender. A stand mixer would be awesome, but I'm not sure if there will be a good enough deal to convince me to buy one.

I've been wanting to upgrade the TV in the bedroom for a while, so that may be my first target.

I'm actually more looking forward to those moments of surprise when I see a deal on something I didn't expect, or one that goes beyond what I'd ever think of.

I've come to the conclusion that "smart tvs" are dumb with the prevalence of all these great set-top boxes. What do you think? You could probably get a better spec'ed dumb TV for the same price.

You know, I really think it's personal preference on that. Price points seem to be a push when you consider the higher cost of a Smart TV versus getting a set top box ($35-$100, I think).

I have a TV in the living room and one in the bedroom. Both are hooked up to Roku boxes and the living room has an X Box 360. Do I need a smart TV? Obviously not. Would I immediately turn one down? Nah.

I'd agree for the living room. I want a smart TV for the bedroom though because I want to increase space in there. I can put a smart TV on the wall and really open up the room. In the living room I expect to have speakers and other things around an "entertainment center" so a set top box goes well there.

Just got a 512GB SSD from one of Amazons recent lightning deals. Definitely breathed new life into my 3 year old laptop, that I was considering replacing but the battery still works so well that I decided to keep it.

I've had a dead hdd for about 6 months and keep putting off getting a new one. Maybe I'll spring for 500 gb if its a good deal.
