Why are comics and posters excluded as a visual medium? I get not wanting to shit things up with memes, but your example under comics conveys the entirety of its message nonverbally, and has cultural and historic significance.

Regardless of the message, it is not suitable content for v/pics. It does not belong in v/pics. Plain and simple.
v/pics is for photographs of people, places, things, not photographs of other media (newspapers, etc)

I disagree, as does rule #3 of the sub. Plain and simple.
Edit: your example under screenshots is visually pretty cool too.
