You are officially her favorite neighbor. Prepare to be asked about every school fundraiser. Hopefully you like wrapping paper, magazines, and chocolate bars.

At the very least, expect some cookies.

If you think that your cat is not already being fed by the neighborhood, boy let me tell ya.

I used to do that with a charity Christmas gift wrapping service at a mall every year. Go in get my packages wrapped (usual charge about $15-$20). Hand them two hundreds and walk away. Two bill so they knew I wasn't expecting change. They would go nuts about the tip.

It was for a battered women's shelter and I felt they deserved to be supported.

You should support them by telling them to learn when to shut up

Hearing aids would be a better donation to a battered women’s shelter.

Who do you donate to? Any of the big charities or do you keep it more localized like this? The more you look into charities the more it seems like 99% of them are a complete scam.

I can't do this here for two reasons.

  1. The cops shut down lemonade stands kids have going because they don't have a city permit and ticket the parents so we hardly see them anymore.

  2. It's nothing but niggers anyway when we do see them and not only would I not give them shit for money I wouldn't drink anything they gave me.

Otherwise, this is a great thing to do if you're lucky enough to live in a good area.

Number 1 is because of number 2. Niggers would use toilet water and lemon pledge.

Number 1 is because we allowed police to become a source of revenue in the name of being "tough on crime," creating perverse incentives for them to behave this way and for cities to encourage it

Country time has pledged to pay the fines of any kids getting busted for lemonade stands this summer.

That is great of them. What a stupid fucking time we are living in where we are busting children's lemonade stands. Get rid of all these pieces of shit and give my fucking tax dollars back.

I do this type of thing with small businesses during Christmas. Most are very thankful at the extra cash. In one instance, the local korean who runs a mini mart by himself and is a decent human being forgot how to engrish when I gave him a $50 for a $5 tab. Poor guy.

Reminds me of a time I was waiting tables on the night shift on Christmas day, sick as a dog but nobody could cover my shift. Some lady came in for a slice of cheesecake and a coffee and left a $50 for it. It instantly transformed what had been a terrible week for me.

You guys are my favorite kind of people. My parents are the same way, and it’s rubbed off on me as well.

It’s a great gift of charity to give more than a person expects, and they will always remember the kindness and generosity. It goes a long way in keeping humanity with one another.

That's an incredibly nice thing you did. No denying that.

But what you really did was give that kid money that was not earned. What you should have done was buy $20 worth of lemonade. You just taught that kid the happiness that comes with being given money like when you're on welfare. That which is given has no value.
