I've been watching the one-sided debate about universal basic income, and it's crazy watching all the idiots banging on about it like it's the best thing ever.
These idiots are so proud they've solved poverty forever, they forgot to think about where the money to do this comes from: on average, implementing a universal basic income system will at least double the size of the state.
The state can't actually create wealth, so the only way to do this is to get that weather through taxes.
These people don't seem to recognise that if this insane idea ever came to fruition, everyone's taxes would double, and the middle class would face Armageddon!
People who are making it with a little to spare each month will suddenly see their income collapse. How will people choose between mortgages, bills, food?
If it ever happened, it would almost certainly cause an immediate financial crisis.
And these morons keep on focusing on the "free" money like it came from heaven.
