Stanford University Medical Center, Mayo Clinic and every major medical research center has definitively stated that they have tested and proven that COVID survives on surfaces for up to 28 days. The feature films: "28 DAYS" and "28 DAYS LATER" show the worse case scenarios of a potential final phase of the COVID epidemic and it looks awful. Because COVID can survive on almost any surface and inside the human body, there is concern that the infected could die and, after a year of post mortem gestation, come back as the walking dead. COVID still exists inside a dead body and the clever COVID architecture has proven to have quite a number of tricks up it's sleeve to keep itself in the social construct. In order for the dead to walk, the brain must have some muscle control communications. Even though, the knowledge was first presented in a Hollywood film, in actuality, in our real world, the walking dead will still require decapitation or full cranial destruction if they exhibit deadly intent. An effective tool, in case this does occur, is a mountaineering ice axe, available from REI Co-Op. Every household should have an ice axe in the closet in case the worst comes to pass. Don't touch public door-knobs or counter-tops with your bare skin, to avoid this type of scenario.

Just carry a joint.
If the walking dead attack light it up, that'll keep them busy for hours.
