Welcome to /v/TIL2, designed with minimal moderator interference of posting.
Aside from VOAT's ToS ( i.e. don't post CP, dox, or trade secrets ), the following rules are currently in place.
Rules:
-
No misleading titles. If using a link post, the title should be directly related to the contents of the link. If using a discussion post, the title should be directly related to the contents of the post.
-
NSFW posts must be tagged as such. That's the "Is Adult (NSFW)?" checkbox on the post submission form, if you don't know where to find it.
-
Satirical / sarcastic posts must be labeled as such in the title. e.g. [satire] / [sarcasm]
-
No spamming disruptive posts or personal attacks. Seriously, this is TIL. Take it to a subverse that cares about drama.
-
No using alts to get around bans for abuse. Not sure why I have to state the obvious here. Expect to be banned again for the same reason.
NOTE: Biased sources ( news, tabloids, or otherwise ) are acceptable. However, expect to be argued with in the comments section.
Have suggestions for rules? Feel free to make a post, using a title starting with "[meta]".
If you like the content here, make sure to check out related subs /v/TodayiLearned, v/TIL (bad mod has been purged!), /v/TodayiFound, and /v/RealTIL, for more TIL posts.
Shout out to Nurdoidz for creating the Typogra 3 Voat style used here.
