This is not the same as what the article is describing, colostrum is a one shot immunity booster that cows produce only in the first day or so of the calf being born. There is no proof as of yet that cows change milk to provide additional antibodies past the colostrum stage. I went on in another post in this thread talking about how unlikely that would be.
To be honest, it would be great if cows did this as pink eye is highly contagious to calves and if the mother's milk could cure it I wouldn't be out treating it during an outbreak.
